CAPTURE. There's an element of the fantastical to Marrakech. An exotic mysticism hangs in the air here, capturing the imagination of even the most seasoned traveler (trust us, there's no place quite like it). The rose-coloured city sprawls elegantly at the foot of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains in central Morocco, providing one of the most stylish and accessible city breaks around.

MIX culture and leisure. Under 4 hours flight from the UK, Marrakech is great for a short-haul getaway, offering the perfect mix of culture and leisure. The city was heavily influenced by the Arab Dynasties and this is apparent everywhere, from its medieval mosques and kasbahs to the impressive forts and palatial ruins.

SHOP. Marrakech's real delights lie in wandering the lively bazaars and beautiful secluded side streets. The extensive souks seem to stretch on forever, a warren-like maze of cubby-hole shops selling local treasures. You'll be hard pressed to escape without at least one colorful memento to remind you of your trip.

SLEEP.
You'll spend your nights in the luxurious Maison Arabe, a traditional Moroccan riad in the heart of the Medina (old town). Here, every modern amenity blends seamlessly with old world charm to create a tranquil environment. La Mason Arabe is built around two flower-filled patios. Moroccan craftsmen lovingly restored this riad (traditional Marrakech house) to its noble origins, using materials and techniques handed down ove centuries. The walls are covered with tadelakt (a coating that is hand-polished with agate stone), gebs (chiseled plaster), cedar wood ceilings, and floors made of bejmat (small sand-coloured bricks).

GAIN insider knowledge. Our local contacts will recommend the best cafés, restaurants and bars, tailoring them to your specifications. These exclusive establishments, scattered across town, are hand-picked and serve only the most exquisite local produce. Insider knowledge? Undoubtedly.

PROLONG. If you've got a bit more time, then combine your visit with a stay at the foot of the Atlas mountains. Here, in the heart of Berber countryside, you can trek paths leading to picturesque villages and hamlets. Winding through forests and hunting reserves filled with wildlife, you'll come upon mountain streams which cascade through the countryside. Brimming with wild flowers, olive trees, and citrus groves, this landscape is a prime location for pure tranquility. And for the more adventurous, there's some intense mountain biking, not to mention white-water rafting.

TWEAK. The experience itinerary listed here is simply an example to provide some inspiration, but we also know that we all like to tweak for a number of reasons. From wanting it to be done in a way that no-one else has ever done if before, to the fact that you can only get 5 days off work as opposed to 7 but still want to get away.
